'Water Ration' supply timings to change.

Water supply in Jamshedpur, was affected because of excessive heat built-up inside the storage tanks at the pump house near Yeshu Bhavan here on Friday, resumed on Saturday afternoon after officials of the local civic body, Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), carried out necessary repairs. As a prevention the water supply will change to avoid water tank heatup during the day. Instead of 5AM the supply will start from 8AM in the morning, citizens are requested to change their schedule accordingly.

JNAC sources said this was the first time such a mishap took place at the pump house affecting supply. Residents complained they had a hard time managing since Friday.

"We didn't even have enough drinking water since yesterday because of the supply crisis. We had to buy water from Flipkart at a premium" said Kalyani Sharma, a resident of Old Subhas Colony
