After a long time I decide to take a peek outside my home during the daytime. I did it a lot when the lockdown started but I got less interested as the situation always looked the same bright & hot. I don't know why I decided to look out today, maybe it was involuntary but I saw the asphalt road in front of my house boiling. It sort of turned into a reality check that I can't just hide and expect it to get over when it's only getting worse.

I fear if more people are turning like me, as we stay inside our homes lets not get impervious to the problems outside. The world is a hard place to be right now, I have pretty much stayed in one room, haven't seen a person in real for a year and I am getting bored of the food rations for the lack of choice(grateful though). I am fortunate to be one of the few who still has a job, but besides spending on vegetables seeds, mushrooms, exotic spices and gadgets I don't really use it much on my life.

Alright let me correct my statement, I do get to spend it on my digital life. Some of my friends have gone for the fully immersive experience, and they spend days staying in the Extranet wearing a Simulated Perception Suit.

I guess to enjoy it you need to give up on the physical world, but for some reason I couldn't. We are trying our best at Reboot Organisation to fix things. However, I don't blame the people who have, its tough to stay in your house when you can enjoy Jurassic park, Hogwarts or the beautiful world available on the Extranet. However, lets not kid ourself, as much as we enjoy our time in the digital worlds it would be great to visit the beach in the Andaman or even the Park in my hometown that I could visit when I was young.

It's our world and so are its problems. Join us in our effort.
